I saw it from afar. My soul lay down on the floor of my heart and waited. The whole scenery was dressed in a beautiful ending. The sunset was intense; the breeze – blowing away the heat of the day; the sea waves – roaring in anticipation. I could feel all around me a sound of change rising up like nothing I’ve ever heard before.

As I got closer my spirit stepped in front while my heart filled up with tears. I stared at the lighthouse and I felt it staring back at me. There was a strong feeling of resemblance – a familiarity in endurance and defiance. My heart whispered: “you and I….you and I are the same”. In that very moment everything changed. My soul exploded in an outgrowth of the old. My spirit expanded to make room for the new. The One Who Holds All Things opened His hand and let a few things drop and fill some of the new created spaces within my spirit. There was no more room for the old.

Today I feel like standing before a massive gate, with one step over the threshold, ready to enter into a completely different world.

For now it is only I that has changed. Nevertheless, I am confident that the outside world will change its form in a way that we can collaborate for a greater purpose. Until then, the soundtrack of this innovative season is on repeat, building momentum for the celebration of the uncharted territory we’re about to explore.
