Dear brain,

Why won’t you believe God?

What makes you a better judge than Him?

Is it experience?

Who made her God?

Is it your judgement?

Who made you God?

How come you think that “you” is all there is?

What about feelings?

What about imagination?

What about the unknown things?

The world is so much bigger than your thoughts!

How can I make you hear me?

The language you speak is foreign to me.

You speak fear … I speak faith.

I cannot get to you!

You seem to only use

These big brown eyes you own

To form a thought and give commands

On such narrow perspective.

You block me so many times,

So brutally!

You are a master in rationality.

You make no room for anything creative.

My eyes are made of liquid gold scattered around the universe

I can travel everywhere while physically being here

I can go across time and space, and even beyond them

I can stand before my Maker and still function here.

I am so not tight to this world!

I actually prefer the other.

I live in both, yet I belong

To the one that has no matter.

Oh, dear brain,

You are so great in many ways,

But completely ignorant in others

You think you own the universe,

Yet you are dependent of others.

Yes, you seem to govern the whole body

And you count that as power.

But after all this flesh is gone

Where will you be?

Come back and try to understand

You are temporal and made to serve

You cannot hijack anymore

This wild spirit within me.

If fear is what you feel, come talk to me

I have a bigger yes for you

A very wide perspective

I am here, connected with you

To do great things together.

Just as you need me, I need you.

There is no slavery here

But a relationship that serves

A grander goal.

A destiny.

So, let’s install a brand-new software

It’s called “the mind of Christ”

Once that is integrated and functioning

You’ll see it too.

A greater life.

A grander goal.

A bigger yes.

A whole new world.

A God who lives.

A reason for all of this.

A meaning,

A belonging,

A hope for what’s to come.

A courage to believe.

Connectivity.
