Before and after

We carry such heavy burdens,

But no pain is without end.

There comes a time when you decide

To put it down, give it a rest.

That day you’ll finally realize

The steps you took, mountains you’ve climbed

You’ve come so far, you have evolved.

You are a different person now.

You have outgrown the need to hide

You have arrived to this new place

A steady ground, a wider space.

A higher state of mind.

This new you has been greatly purged,

Enlarged, rebuilt, in a distinct manner.

You are no longer able to

Go be bondslave to a serpent.

You can’t shrink back.

Just like a child that has been born;

He can no longer be unborn.

That is a picture of you, today.

My dear one, there’ll be more tears

The second that you’ll realize

You have been trying to atone

A debt that’s already been settled.

Let that sink in…

For a short while you’ll stop to grieve

The loss of time. And life… and dreams;

Then you’ll forgive yourself each thing,

And all that time you didn’t see.

And in an instant after that,

The One Who paid it all, in full

Will, once again, dry out your tears

And clothe you in your purpose.

For a bit, right there, with Him

You will feel invincible;

Unshakable, unstoppable,

Ready to take over the world.

Remember that feeling:

That’s who you actually are

In Him.

That is your commissioning

From Him.

Take the Kingdom to the non-Kingdom part of the world.

He paid it all, He asks for all.

All that you are – the one He designed you to be.

Your dreams fulfilled – the ones He formed deep in your core.

All of your time – the time that He gifted you with.

All of your life – the life that He breathed into you.

You now belong to Jesus.
